Day 1 - The journey

Here at last!
After about 24 hours of travelling we're finally in Denver :)
The flight to Chicago was pretty good, the plane was empty so we had 5 seats between us so plenty of room to stretch out. Security was a pain and some people decided to throw up at immigration. I didn't think the security people were that bad, but there you go!

Some advice for any fellow travellers though, Walkers Sensations tend to explode at 38000 feet making a large banging noise that can be known to startle other passengers.
Kettle Chips however are fine to at least 40000 feet, which is obviously why they cost more. The video shows the bag before it exploded about 15 mins later.
Also you cannot take photographs of planes for security reasons as the terrorists may find out that they're not big metal dragons and they are infact planes that park at an airport.

Once in Denver we picked up the Dodge Charger (more on that later) and managed to avoid the perils of the freeway. Within 10 mins a car in front's bonnet had flipped up, another truck had crashed badly and later there was just a random wheel in the middle of a lane!

  1. I'm suprised you weren't told to step away from the weapon and then wrestled to the floor by security guards.
